I want to put in this cam and the matching patriot heads, but not the heads until spring. Will this cam work with the stock heads and block?
232/230 Dur. @.050 .580"/.580" Lift 110 LSA
How much HP would it gain me?
MODS:
Ported MAF
TCI 3500
MegaMax Racing Transmission
Pacesetter LTs
TSP ypipe
whipsper lid
kn filter
HP Tune
Tons of appearance mods

Both would work with stock heads. I have ran both the TSP cam and the patriot 232/230 cam. You'll be much happier and make more power with the 231/237 cam. The reverse split doesn't make really good power up top and the P/V is really tight on the intake if you go to ported heads with larger intake valves later down the road.

Just because when you used some in the past, that didn't match your combos.
The 231/237 (LUNATI) has been replaced by 233/239 (Comp XE-R) BTW. TSP still offers the 231, but the 233 is better IMO for that range.
