Default 5000 Bucks!! What to do?

5000 bucks!! What would you do to your car with that? I am looking the Heads route, but am not canceling out the supercharger out. Mods are 232/236 112 LSA, 12 Bolt 3.73 Moser, Yank SS 3600 Stall, Full Bolt ons, Full Suspension. No Intake and Throttle Body yet, and still running stock injectors. What should I do to get my car running the best for 5000 Bucks???

Sell cam, get stocker or ls6.. or blower friendly. Sell stall, get a better one rated for more power of FI.

D1sc kit.

Peace,
Josh

nice try ACE! I think I am sticking N/A. Just love the rumble of an engine more.
So Strocker Kit so far and everybody else is saying turbo. Lets stick to the N/A side, what do you suggest.

It'd be real hard to get a turbo kit on and tuned for $5k. I think you could get a nice used d1sc kit and do it to it tho.

Peace,
Josh

as a matter of fact GMR Speed had a special not more than a week or two ago for just that, they would install the kit, and a fuel pump, and tune it for around $5xxx. i forgot how much exactly but it covered the price of the kit as well. i wish i could have capitalized on that.

Lunati stroker kit (382, 383, or 395ci) for around 3k. A set of AFR 225's 2k, (or get used ones for less) thats if you do the work your-self add 1k if you have someone do it for you. thats what I would do.---Andrew

Here's what I was thinking of doing: AFR 205's, 36LBS injectors, Fast90/90, ASP Pulley. Never though about a bigger stall though, I might look into it. What size do you guys suggest. Maybe the PT 4400?

Lunati stroker kit and AFR 225's! I will look into that right now as a matter of fact. What are the advantages of a stroker on an LS1?

DO that.. going w/ the stroker kit and AFR would be AWESOME.. but all the supporting mods and knick knacks would run you WELL over 5k..
