FYI,
I have been looking into the new upcoming Predator castings by Patriot (to debut in March). After talking to Gunnar he is saying that Cams as big as the G5X3 should be able to work with the new heads without flycutting. He didn't go into the expectations of the heads as much as I wanted to but it was enough for me to hold on with my upcoming project.

The 112 is really tight on PTV, could be more comfortable with A4 than M6.
One miss shift and kissy kissy pistons. 114 is more comfortable.
If your heart is set on a 112 then get G5X2 that one is better.
The difference is minimal as far as cam size.
G5x2> 232/240
G5X3> 234/242

Also, I run an x3 on a 112 and ptv is fine, but like others have said, with heads(aftermarket) flycutting is a must.

And not to mention there will be little gained going up to the X3 over the X2.
