We all know where to find the SLP H/C package . You really should read more about heads and cam. I think that you will be more pleased with AFR's or Patriot Heads with say a custom grind that has produced countless results. All I am sayin is don't drop more money on somethng that is "advertised" HP. You really should check with a few of the sponsors other than SLP and see what else is out there.
Don't waste your money. that is just my $0.02

Those are AFR 225 heads. along with a 236 duration cam. Pretty stout.

I dunno, I've always been skeptical about SLP packaged crap, but this combo looks good. Get Long Tubes (not SLP's) and tuning.

im just getting some input, i also think 525 hp is a little to much just out of head and cam, but from what people tell me, the cam in the package is pretty big

Well, I think there is a built in added value/comfort to anyone who's into the whole "I must get SLP" thing. If you want to go that route, at least you're finally getting a decent product. There's cost savings in buying the AFR heads and a 236 duration cam as individual items, but what the hell, for someone just getting into this, they're finally getting their money's worth in buying one of these packages.

Yeah it is a pretty big cam actually. but I am just afraid that you will have no money left over for a few more bolt ons and headers.

For instance: Patriot heads + F14(just picking a cam) = 1,600.

SLP Package = Damn near 3 grand.

AFR heads are infact $2300.

But not 600$ for an SLP cam? That is way too much IMO.

525 hp at the crank is very doable with that combo.
That's 446rwhp more or less. Very realistic.

I'll guarantee to you that you won't hit anything NEAR 525 with that heads/cam package. You'll probably be more along the lines of 420-450, esp if you're keeping EVERYTHING else stock. I just did FAST 90/90, ED Custom Cam, ARE Stage 3 heads flowed 327cfm at .600 lift, Edelbrock Stepped to 1 7/8 w. 3.5 in collectors, volant CAI, and just got it tuned and made 441hp and 400 trq rear wheel. Good luck with that 525 haha. They must mean flywheel hp.

I like those wheels better than the stock ones anyday. What did the picture have to do with the heads and cam stuff though?

SLP is way overpriced & will not give advertised HP. I would get AFR heads for the price and a Cam in the duration and lift you like. Check with some ot the sponsors.

Wow, they're really generous with their package discount. A big $25 off If your looking for a radical package then that looks like it. However, you will have no low end with that size cam and AFR 225's on a 346
and you will need gears.
