Any lack of performance with catch cans?

Default Any lack of performance with catch cans?

Just wondering if adding a catch can, can affect performance, throttle response etc..

Don't think so. As far as i know it is the other way around if you are actually a good candidate for a catch. Oil in the intake is what would be affecting performance.

Not if it's all plumbed correctly.

I don't know, just looking to try new things. There is another thread that is on here that seems pleasing too. I was reading something where you can stick a breather in the oil neck, and delete the whole PCV system. That seems like it might be worth giving a try, as this oil thing is relatively annoying

I used the AMW..
Mounts directly to the passenger side head with provided bracket.

Install as follows..
1. Pull PCV valve off intake (right behind the throttle body), and discard angled rubber fitting.

2. Connect this line to top of catch can.

3. Run provided tubing from side of catch can directly into intake,
(where PCV was connected before)

Done..
Drain can as needed from chock valve on bottom or remove can & spill out..
