Those heads will work, but you'd probably go faster with some small bore AFR 225 heads. I just got mine last week and plan on bolting them up this week. I'll find out soon if they're worth swapping for the AFR 205s.

"Valves:
They come with brand new 1 piece stainless Ferrea 2.02" or 2.05" Intake valves and 1.60" Ferrea exhaust valves."

Larger than stock vavles = flycut with that big of a cam

BTW, the ballpark for the G5X4 cam specs are around 236/244-111+1 or 2. Around the size of a TSP MS3 but with a narrower LSA. It's a nasty cam, but a good one.

Those or the patriots I'm looking at with my big cam setup. I don't want to flycut.

I'm also interested in the new small bore AFR 225s, after talking to Matt at TTP, theyre not sure if theyre gonna have to flycut with cams of this size. Im thinking they will.

If you dont mind flycutting and price isnt an issue go with proven AFR 225s or the new 11* ETP heads (which are back ordered)

if you mill the stock heads, or buy stock heads that are milled .050, you are gonna definitely have to flycut with a G5X4 cam. and more than likely you will have to go with 7.350 pushrods. the X4 cam clears stock, unmilled heads, but milling them and using aftermarket valves can create problems. make sure you check your piston to valve clearance before bolting everything up or you could have a major problem.

The S3 heads are recommended for larger than stock displacement

hmm all right thanks for all the info...can i do rod bolts through the oil pan with the motor still in the car?(just take the pan off) also i think i may just go with cheaper all turnative...which is the patriot stage 2's with the smaller combustion chamber(i think 58cc or 59cc)....also THIS IS A BIG QUESTION...

what size pushrods would i need for the g5x4 on the patriot stage 2's with the smaller combustion chamber? i know stock unmilled id go with 7.4 of some kind.
thanks a lot
