Priming a LS1?

Priming a LS1?
I just got my motor back from the machine shop and I was wondering how to prime these motors being theat the oil pump is ran off the crank Im not sure what to do.
I thought about using the oil pressure sensor spot but Im not sure if that will work. I bought the fitting that goes where the sensor is, should I just use some sort of pump. If so can you point me in the direction of where I can purchase one.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

i've never primed any LS1 motor new or rebuilt. they all get full oil pressure with in 1-1.5 second of start up.
I guess if you wanted to you could take out the fuel pump relay , pull all the plugs (so it doesn't build compression and can turn over faster) and just crank it over for a few seconds. that should build up some oil pressure.

Im not sure what the inside of an LS1 pump looks like but on a SBC I have put grease or vaseline in the gears on the pump to help it start pumping.
There really is no way to prime one I guess. Priming one normaly means spinning the pump but not the engine which is impossible with an LS1.

i read somewhere on here the other day to just unplug the big conectors to the coil packs, and also pull the fuse for the fuel pump, and then crank the car over a little bit to build up the pressure.
