I know I SHOULD spend my money on a clutch first But I've been dead set on either the Trex cam or the TR236/230-112 for the time being a stock clutch I've got 2,500 bucks to spend on the car and I'm going with a TB LT's and TD's with a nice cam and its either the cam or the clutch

Blah, F the clutch - just avoid hard launches and more than 1 run at the track and you should be fine for a season. You will DEF need a clutch by late July though

haha I know it sounds dumb.. I just hate spending my money on things like suspension or clutches... If I cant hear it or feel it going faster it just feels like a waste of money although I definatly know its not

yea but if you have the power and it cant do anything but spin or break other things down the line then theres no point in doing anything if you dont want to do it right...

You should be fine to drive around and have some fun with it. As far as hard driving, who knows.
I usually can't get through 2 gears before mines gone, a combination of high rpm and too much hp.

yeah what they said. Be nice to the clutch, it will hold up fine unless you do something stupid at the track like launch it hard

Exactly...it took me friggin' forever, but I bought single adjustable LCA's, a PHR, and a tunnel-brace mounted torque arm before I ever bought my cam. I don't regret it at all

For $2500 you should be able to get a cam, headers and a clutch.

Peace,
Josh
