Default Driving notes with a BIG cam: 346 & 254/260

We've been able to get the tune close(+- 3%) and boy it runs good. Everyone always asks about driveability concerns with a big cam and I have always wondered what does everyone mean. Here are some issues/notes:
- Right not my idle is set @ 975 and it hits and sticks
- Can cruise in 6th @ 1250 very with little cam surge
- On Decel idle will hang @ 1250-1300 until you come to a complete stop and idle will fall to 975
- Car pulls seamless through the RPM band no real major difference in feel, nice quick constant pull
- Idle does not dip @ lights
- Idle does not dip on braking
- only thing I would change is cat-back, car is pretty loud @ 1800, cruising @ 1300 is fine and 2000 + she screams.

Hey Phil which catback do you have? Maybe you might consider a stock z06 cat back. I am cam only with headers and no cats and mine sounds almost stock at cruising speeds!!

Right now we're running:
LG Pro Long Tubes
3" Center section
3" Rear section with Borla XR1 mufflers.

People always think my car w/ the t-rex is going to drive terrible, until they ride in it. Very streetable cam. I think w/ the LS1 and tuning ability, big cam driving issues aren't a problem. As long as you can live with lope (I like it), it'll drive fine.

Whos vacuum pump are you planning on using? If you are waiting on Charlie's at A&A, I think it will be awhile.
