Default going from F14-F13..issues?

i think imma step it down a notch with the cam and put a 13 in...im looking for more lowend TQ. and something that doesnt pull so high...i dont ever take my car up to 6800+ anyhow...

alright, there pretty much simular cams, just wondering if i should expect any big issues with changing since my car is tuned for a F14. i expect there to be some, thats a givin but im just curious if the cam difference is enough to cause a big tuning problem...i cant get it tuned right away b/c im about to be leaving for a deployment soon, and kinda tight on money...itll have to wait a bit...the car needs to be retuned anyhow since it was tuned with a ls1 intake and 26lb injectos..i recently added a ls6 and 28lbers...so that in itself is causing it to run really rich...any help would be appreciated...i basicaly just want to make sure it wont be dieing at every stop light...i wont know till i actually change it, but maybe you guys can give me a heads up...thanks

Might want to think about the F11,it has all the characteristics you are looking for and I made over 400 rwhp with it and 4.10's. Has awesome drivability, just a suggestion,I wouldn't think the tuning you have would make much of a impact on the switch.

I don't think it's really worth stepping down to a F13, there really close in size
and it isn't going to make that much of a difference. I would either go smaller as the other person mentioned or get some 410's to complement the F14. If it were me I'd get the 410's.

I would almost say that it would be more trouble than it is worth.

ya i see your guys point...i guess im just getting alil tired of my setup and im wanting to change it up...it prolly would be more trouble then its worth your right....ill have to think this over again...

*alternate idea*
maybe i can just build a budget shortblock...use a stock polished crank, eagle rods, and some nice forged pistons...all ARP bolts, clean up and mill the heads, raise the compression and run a 200 wet shot...how does that sound? anyone see a problem with that idea? stock cranks can hold a decent amount of power i've heard/seen...i just aint got the money to invest/build a big forged stroker motor, but i've been wanting to build a decent nitrous setup for a while now...what do you guys think? anyone running a setup like this? something that runs good N/A, and on nitrous?

ill talk with some shops and see how much it would run me...if i bought all the parts, and just dropped the car off to them with the parts in the back, all they had to do was clean up the block/heads, and assemble, balance, ect. ect...hmm..imma check on it
