I run a 220 duration cam. Stock is nowhere close to 218, even the ls7 is only 211/230.
My application is slightly different than most though. (high-compression road race setup).
With full supporting mods, my car does about 400/400. I break things all the time and haven't had it on the dyno yet, but in a race from a roll I took the move on a 420rwhp firehawk and kept 1/2 car on him up to 120, and that was with the t-tops off and cutout closed.
How much power you make will depend on what heads you run. Powerband should be similar to stock with a slightly higher hp peak, dependin on what LSA its on.
You may not be satisfied with the cam though.

I ran 11.97 with a tr220 cam only in my car back when I had mac mid lenths and a vig 3200. I wouldn't worry much that cam makes very decent power. Its just not what the masses are using these days. I was happy with cam as my first cam. You made a good choice.

I agree, i think you will enjoy the cam. Huge cams are not for everyone, and sometimes are just not needed. I have seen small cam cars that dyno a little less, but as above mentioned give a big cam car hell.....especially in short runs..like say a redlight to redlight street race.
