Default Stumbling off idle to1400rpm

From a stop I give a little gas and let out the clutch and it seems as though the car won't accelerate much, engine stumbles until 1450rpm and the kind of wakes up and is perfect once past this point. I know that a thrust bearing is going in my engine, and would make me think it is this, however, could it be tuning or something else that went bad? Any ideas of what might be causing this? Thanks.

Definitely not this( even letting the clutch out at an overly high 1350 still does this), only this that were changed tuning wise since I first noticed this was adding a couple of grams of air because i was running really rich off idle and had trouble on hot starts, problem solved, but now this is happening and one a thrust bearing is going so what else might it be? Could it be a vacuum leak?

my automatic car would stumble off idle and also when coming to a stop..it was because of a vacuum leak.

stumble as in not accelerating to a certain rpm and being good past a certain rpm?How was this fixed?

It is normal for a vacuum leak to be only below 1500rpm?

yes, it would stumble (barely accelerating...almost jerk you around) until it got to about 1,100 then it would be fine. cruising was fine, as well. going WOT from a dead stop would annihilate the tires and give me no trouble whatsoever. i just couldn't lightly accelerate from a stop. pissed me off..i wouldn't have known about it until the motor threw a code saying banks 1 & 2 were lean. this pissed me off even more because i couldn't rip on it with a code like that

This is exactly the same thing I am experiencing, so for you, it was because banks 1 and 2 were lean off idle? I was rich off idle and had it tuned for 2g more air off idle to 1200rpm. So maybe it went the other way, I am too lean?

no, i'm saying the vacuum leak caused the code.

and if it weren't for the code i wouldn't have start snooping around under the hood.

i'd say...spray some ether around your vacuum lines and see if anything happens, if not it must be a tuning issue.

You can also use the smoke of a cigarette to see if there are any air disturbances around your intake manifold gaskets.

PS Could an exhaust leak cause a similar situation?
