None came from the factory with LS6 engines (at least officially). The LS6 engine was never an option 1998-2002.

Ya but if you are realy luck and spent the exstra cash after you distroyed your old motor Mr Goodwrench will put one in for you for about 10k.
My friend did this. GM pay to replace his ls1 under warrenty and he added 2k more and got the ls6 in it. He also do not have the use of his legs so he can not do it himself.

My 2002 has an LS6 block, it was made in 6/02.
A guy I work with has the exact same car, same options, 2002, it has a build date in '01 and has a regular LS1 block.

I don't see why whenever this comes up there are a few people who have to start bitching about how the LS6 doesn't make more power, ect. I didn't see anything suggesting that anyone thought that it did, they simply were asking how many cars came with them.

Most people are just naturally curious about which block they're running. I was so I checked it out. I found out I had an LS6 block; I thought it was pretty cool and then I moved on.
