Alot of aggravating undriveable power.
I don't know the specs offhand, but it's much bigger than the T-rex and is basically a track-only cam that makes power from something crazy like 4800-7300.

Grand-Am Cup Cam GMPP# 88958606

"From the good folks at GM. The LS1 "Grand-Am Cup" hydraulic camshaft. Thats right folks, this is no solid roller cam either. RPM range is 4000-7000!
This hydraulic roller camshaft is designed by the GM Racing Division for road racing applications in the Grand-Am series. Serious duration and lift will require that the piston to valve clearance be checked as well as major PCM modifications. For best torque, install the intake centerline 105 for best power install at 107. GM recommends lightweight valves and valve springs from the 2002-03 LS6 engine for use with this camshaft.
Note: When installing this camshaft, it is critical that you use the point of maximum lift on the intake lobe. This is not a symmetrical lobe design!"
My understading is that this cam should be use with LS6 ported heads for Grand-Am use.

That cam is not for you. You need to look in the 224-230 range if you want anything worth your while. You arent going to be driving that cam everyday because the powerband is up in the 4000+ range. Ripping that cam to full potential on the street will not happen maybe but only 2% of the time. If you are lucky your engine will stay together at 7K spins.

I started second guessing myself about a cam choice. I am worried about valve spring life. Before I was looking a .600 lift cam. Now I'm worried about change my springs every 20,000 miles, lol. I wanted to get the FM13, but on a 110 LSA. I was trying to get the power sooner in RPM range. I have my rev limiter set at 6,500 RPM and didn't want to rev it any higher. I also wanted to get a nasty "lope from hell". I guess i can fix that in the tuning. My second choice cam is the TSP 231/237, but I'd like to keep as much of my business with Futral as possible.
Would the valve springs last more than 20,000 miles with a .570 lift?
or is there not much difference in .570 lift to a .600 lift.
I know the lobe shapes are different, but does it really make a difference how fast the valves open?

Maybe I should just get the FM14 on a 112.
