Default F13-F14 question

I just found my paperwork for my purchase of my F14. It was ordered on 3/14/2005.
Is that during the time period when Futrual was getting bad cam stock?
I assume it's the same blanks they use for the F13s and F14s...

If anything, call them and tell them your grind # and serial # and they can tell you if it was effected.

Yeah I will, but I had the cam kit shipped to my builder so he could build the heads. Everything is on its way to me now so I'll get the numbers in a few days. Allan always way busy too so I hate calling them.

david from futral called me today, and i spoke with him about this very same problem...he told me there is no way to tell if the cam is bad or not, and that all they can do is get you another one....your cam is in the time period that they had the bad cams from cam motion. all you can do, and futral is doing this for everyone, is purchase another cam from them. they'll charge your card, but once you get the new cam in all you have to do is send them your old cam weither its bad or not and they will recredit your card...so basically, call futral tell them your story, buy a new cam. they will charge you upfront but once you get the new cam in, just send them back your old cam weither is it bad or not,and they will recredit your card...they said that they are doing this for everyone that purchased cams through them during this period and there isnt any questions aobut it on there side...he also stated that as of right now there have been no bad F14's that have came back, they have all been F13's but there holding to there word and replaceing all cams that were bought during this period...march/april/may 2005

Had my cam pulled last week and this was the result.

I called Futral today and I was just told to just send it back for a replacement.
