i would start pulling accessorys off and the heads off then you should be able to un bolt tranny and pull your motor from the top its a pain but it can be done

It can come out the top. Drop the tranny first, then pull the intake, exhaust, all the accy's off the front of the motor, pull the radiator and the a/c condenser, pull the pulley off the front of the motor, and it will come out thru the top.

It's not that bad out the top, I've done it twice. Lots of bolts, just put them in bags and mark them for future reference.

That can be done too.. but by the tiem you get done ripping it apart that way you're really not saving alot of time. Nevermind that the car will need an alignment after.

Very easy to get out the top, I always take mine out that way - you can even leave the trans attached but it definantly takes two people or one experienced person and a little luck.

sounds like that might actually take longer. id pull it out of the top. u dont need a lift. unbolt it from the rear main and pull it out. there is plenty of room in the bay when u take the front accessories out. hell i can dance in the bay with the radiator/condensor and everything out. just make sure u have plenty of help.
