Default oil change light came on so i had my oil changed 1000miles early and is still on

My oil change light came on 1000 miles before i was supposed to get it changed, so i got it changed and it is still coming on. It has never come on before this. Does anyone know why it wont go off

The oil indicator works off of mileage. Simply changing the oil won't reset the light. You will have to turn the key on and hold down the trip odometer reset for about 12 seconds to reset the light.

or you can put the key to on, youll know its on cuz youll be able to hear the fuel pump ( i dont know i can hear mine), then pump the gas 3 times, then turn the car on.

problem solved

i hope someone else does all the work on your car for you because if you can't read the owners manual then don't screw with it and take it to someone that is a professional.
