oil change light came on so i had my oil changed 1000miles early and is still on My oil change light came on 1000 miles before i was supposed to get it changed, so i got it changed and it is still coming on. It has never come on before this. Does anyone know why it wont go off

The oil indicator works off of mileage. Simply changing the oil won't reset the light. You will have to turn the key on and hold down the trip odometer reset for about 12 seconds to reset the light.
