Default Lookin to get roller rockers

Yes I know there isnt much of a gain to be had with them but my motor has 100K on it with stock rockers so id like to change em out for alittle peace of mind. Stock ratio is 1.7 right? if I go 1.8 how much will that change lift? only a small fraction on duration. The brands I was looking at were harland ans comp, but iv seen a few threads about problems with harlands and needing differnt length pushrods. Will I be able to use the stock length pushrods, I have hardened ones? Thanks

Maybe a shorter pushrod....You know the stockers are roller rockers right?
Harland can rebuild the stockers to better than stock and good as new as well Nasty Performance. I would stay with a 1.7 ratio on the F-13 cam though. What kind of springs do you run currently?

It is probably sold as a kit somewhere. Only like 250 for the rebuild plus shipping. That is a great price for basically new rockers.

The fulcrum is a roller filled with tiny needle bearings. The tip is not a roller tip though.

I know you said you are looking at the Harlans, but just an FYI:

Before I went with the T&D shafts I have now (went with because I went solid roller), I ordered the Comp ProMags and was VERY impressed with the design. They look really well built, easy to install, and easy to adjust. I never installed them as I ordered them early in my "design" phase (when I thought I would go hydrolic) and quickly moved to solid roller. The next non-solid engine I build will probubly use them.

again, just FYI

i am using patriot gold DVS, I guess I could send ff the stockers. So a stock ratio would be better for me? if i ever do get another cam it will be bigger, I was lookin at both comp and harland but iv heard sme bad things about the harlands center shaft not fitting.

Harlan rebuilt stockers for the win. Can't beat the price and solid upgraded redesign of the stock rocker. However, if you're looking for rockers with a roller tip, can't help you there and don't see why you would. The stock rockers are perfectly fine and don't NEED to be replaced with anything else unless you're actually looking for a design change like roller tips rather than a performance improvement like higher ratios. But, different strokes.

I sent my rockers out to Harlan Sharp last Friday, they got them Monday...I had them back to me all shiney new and rebuilt on Wednesday!!! Basically they turned them around in a day. They are STOUT and lighter than Harlan Sharps. Best of both worlds. Just give Nate @ Nasty a call and he'll take care of you.
