Default maching crank pulley for double roller

I need the specs on how much im suppose to have the crank pulley machined for a double roller...thanks

You only have to do this if you have a really old ASP pully. I would say that 100% of pullies these days have that provision already done.

If you need to machine it just take off the same amount that the spacers on the oil pump add.

i just got my new pulley in its a SLP unit, so u think i should be fine with this one as is? thnx

You can install it without the front cover and see if you have clearance issues.

I'm pretty sure the SLP pulley ad on speed-inc says you don't have to do it on their pulley.

where does it say this on the ls1speed website? i just compared my old pulley to my slp one (my old one was machined old asp pulley) and it looks like the slp one has more material on it when compared to the asp. so i dunno, im gunna try it anyways i think
