Default Prc heads and a 228R install finished (vid)

Well Finally finished installing my heads cam and intake today. I couldn't have smiled harder when I fired it up the first time. It's a little choppy and needs a tune but all is in good working order. The install was made easy with the ls1howto.com reference page. I'll have a vid in a few minutes.

Wish we could say the same about the last H/C install we did. But congrats, now let's see you melt those tires.

no tire melting just yet, I'm going too let the new valve springs cool overnight. We'll see what happens tommorrow though. Working on getting the vid up right now. It's just a quick idle clip. Probably have a few more to post tommorrow.

What happened with your install?

There's the vid. Like I said just a quick untuned idle clip. More to come later!

I know what you mean. I think I found one vid of a 228r before and I wasn't even positive it was one. Mine sounds a little lopy right now because it's not tuned, but it's also on a 110Lsa which Im sure is helping it lope a lil bit.

If you had hardened pushrods, you might have bent some valves.

Those missed shifts suck, been there done that. And don't blame it on the shifter........

Yeah I know a lot of it was driver error but, the springs on the 5.0 need changed. It's no longer self centering. It's more like first second centering.
