Default oil leak after head and cam

just got the car back from the shop with a new head/cam package, notice that I have oil in my driveway and underneath the right side appears to be leaking from the bottom of the motor near the front. Didn't notice any oil up top near the heads or around the flywheel where the cam went in. Any suggestions.

I am on Monday morning, I guess now I'm just impatient wondering if they could have blown the bottom end or something. I didn't do a supercharger because I heard that the bottom end would go. Can a H/C cause the bottom seals to blow?

They probably didn't align the front cover. They make special tools to do it with .

That or they forgot to RTV that cover on the bottom where it meets up with the Oil Pan.

My vote is the front cover as well. It's really easy to do though, if they messed that up, I would be leary of them doing any other part of the install.

All you do is put the new/used gasket on, put some silicone on the bottom of the cover where it contacts the oil pan, slide it over the crank snout, put the bolts in but don't torque them down yet, leave them a lil loose, install the crank pulley, then tighten all the bolts to spec.

I think you guys are right. I know that it's not the oil pickup o ring because I have good oil pressure. I'm taking it back monday. Could having this leak cause any damage with high rpm driving is it basically ok to drive until they fix it?

It's not gonna tear anything up til you get it fixed. Don't worry.
