Default Doing heads/ cam- what bolts & gaskets to buy?

I know that I need to buy a new crank bolt. From what I've read the ARP seems the way to go. Should I reuse my stock headbolts? Where is the best place to buy the bolts, gaskets, and valve seals?

You cannot (should not) re-use your stock head bolts since they are TTY. Buy some new ones, or better yet buy a gasket kit. I know Thunder Racing has a nice cam install gasket kit with all the parts you need, including a new GM crank bolt. They also have a headswap kit. Who are you buying your H/C package from? I'm pretty sure they can cut you a deal with the complete gasket kit since you're already buying the H/C from them.

you can't reuse your stock bolts, you will either need new stockers or even better get some arp headbolts and tourqe them to ft/lbs instead of using the degree method of the stockers.if the motor is still in the car the degree method really sucks !

I have done the MLS gaskets and ARP studs. But the heads will probably be coming off more than enough....

Do yourself a favor and buy the gaskets at Napa. They are the exact same as GM and about half the price.

Or help out a sponsor on this site that is paying good money to show good products. Plus they can make you a packaged deal in some cases.

I recently bought a hydrolocked '03 Z06 engine. I'm using those heads and either that cam or a LPE GT2-4 that I have. -I know they don't list that one, but I got it directly from LPE. Same specs as the other GT2s except 4 degrees advanced.
