step to 3.73s , 4.10 are alot of gear for an auto specially that 4160e has very close ratios.

get 3.73s. with a matching stall converter.

4.10s are too much for an auto.

Atleast 4.10 for 6 speed and probably 3.73 for auto or mabe 3.90.

You can't get a 3.90 for a stock 10 bolt, can you? Only a 9" or a corvette rear, right?

I do not know about that, but if that is the case then 4.10s would be good as well. As I have a Z06 my trans has a different gearing so my 3.90s act more like 4.33s.

I wouldn't say that 3.06/1.62/1.00 is a close ratio. But then again, it doesn't much matter with a 3800 stall.

If you are all 1/8 mile, don't care about mpg in your daily driver, then I agree with 4.10's for a stock 10 bolt. What are you trapping in the 1/8th now? You'll want to max out your rpm's in 3rd if possible.
