cam/heads
before i start i know there will be someone that bitches about me to use search button, well i did and didnt get any usefull info.So I have a 99 z with a 6 speed all stock except magnaflow exhaust im looking into doing a h/c package, but really know absolutely nothing about them and wanted some ideas on which one people have and use for their daily driver anything would be appreciated thanks

there is alot to be considered other than just the heads and cam. you can take a look at my sig to get some ideas of other mods involved...there are options all across the board depending on how in depth you want to go. what are you goals with the car?

This can be a very rewarding decision if you pick it yourself. Don't expect to hit the search up a few times and know exactly what you want for your car. It'll take a few weeks maybe. I've been learning about cam specs indepth for the last six years, and still don't understand everything. Try and listen to some local cars. Go over to ls1sounds.com and try and get a feel for what you like. Go to our dyno results section and read on power increases.
Picking a cam is like picking a wife. It's going to take a while to decide what you want, what you can tolerate, and what you can't put up with. Expect to make compromises too if it's street driven a lot.
