I have a used compcam 224/228. Specs show 3722R and 3724R for lobes. Also shows .581 and .581 lift.

No big deal but I thought the 3724R was always (.346) .588 lift w/1.7 rocker.

Cam part # is 54-000-11

3724R, XE-R design, .588" lift. That's what the lobe chart says.

Agreed but camcard show .581 lift on exhaust with 3724R lobe.

.007 isn't really a big deal. The .588 maybe the advertised lift but what it actually specs out at on a cam doctor may be slightly different...which is why they include a cam card.

3724R according to Comp should be 228 .588. Still would like to know if 3724R is available in any other lift than .588.

I am not doing cam doctor. Cam card is from Comp.

I can live with 228/.581, no biggie. Just surprised to see different lift than I expected on cam card. Maybe Comp screwed up printing the card.

Comp will grind you a cam to any specification you desire. Just give them a call.

No, that lobe does not come in a diffrent lift. It's probablly just misprinted on the card.
