Edelbrock/Lingenfelter heads.
Not to start the war of these heads are better than the other ones we allways get into here. But was the final verdict on the heads? I did a search and really couldn't find much.

better runners for low end punch for sure over the ported ls6 heads...
plus they have a different vavle angle or something like that which give more PTV clearance..look at the terminators from TSP...

a little less, but close yeah....
added strength is really a plus, but only if youre spraying of FI....i cannot see many members on this board overpowering the heads with their set ups...mine included...i went with some PRC 5.3's....

I think you have to be a fan of the smaller runner design. Throttle response and respectable torque, especially low and mid-range.
TSP version is 62cc. Nice bump in compression, right out of the box.
Erikthegoalie is right. A lot of different ways to achieve your goal.
Depends on what you are looking for..Smaller runners are fun on the street.
Hope that helps. Good luck..

well I'm thinking I want to make a strong steetable motor based on an LS2 out of a Goat I'm either gonna just put new rod bolts and pistons then call it a day or just put in a 3.9" forged bottom and just build a stout motor looking for AT LEAST 500/500 at the fly. I don't want a real lumpy cam or extra loud exhaust it's going in a S10 Blazer that is my daily with a M6. I would like to keep the cost reasonable thats why I'm not building a scratch 427ci and trying to get 700/700. The heads need to be good of course and I've allways been a fan of Edelbrock and Lingenfelter. But Dart/AFR/ETP etc. are not out of the question.

any other opinions? Also since I really don't know, what LS6 head is comparable to the Edelbrock/Darts? ETP what stage/Patriot what stage etc. ?
I wonder if the price of having my heads worked is cost efficient compared to buying heads from one of the mentioned brands.

I don't necissarily know if I would use a Fast. It's alot of $$$$ I would at least use an LS6 but maybe one of the Aluminum intakes (don't flame me for that) I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I wan't to do.
I appreciate the info/opinions keep them comming.

Depending on whether you are more focused on streetable, daily driver power or trying to get AT LEAST 500/500 at the flywheel will make a difference. With 364 cubes, it will take more cam and exhaust than is really daily driver friendly. If you do go with more cubic inches, it wouldn't hurt to have larger intake ports. Your budget to get there will determine what works best.
Consider a short duration cam (220 - 224) with a tight LSA (112 or even 110) and either Edelbrock 202, Dart or AFR 205 heads for the best velocity & torque production. That should get you close to 450rwhp with a good exhaust, but you'll spend some money keeping it quiet.
