Default Z06 oil pressure

I have a 2001 Z06 and my oil pressure is showing 130 psi on the info cluster. I would assume that this is not normal. What would be a normal reading and any thoughts as to the problem?

Thanks

Your Oil pressure sending unit has failed and needs replaced.

Definitely sounds like it. And he wasn't even changing the manifold! You know where it is located right?

There is a great post over on the Corvette forum regarding relocating the pressure sensor over to the side of the block for easier access.

It is not uncommon to hear of these sensors lasting a few weeks or less.

Relocation would eliminate the need to remove the intake every time it craps out.

I didn't have to remove the intake or the blower when mine fried.

On the CTS-V you only have to remove the windshield wiper facia.
