Oil Pressure Sending Unit Question?

Oil Pressure Sending Unit Question?
I think my OPSU is going bad. My oil pressure was always above 40 psi at idle after the heads/cam swap. I was driving around today and my pressure gauge started to fluctuate from 25 psi to 40 psi. It would increase with RPM but it would flutter erratically. I checked my oil level and it looks fine. I have approx 1500 miles on the clock after the swap and I'm using a ported LS6 pump.
Bad OPSU?
Oil Pump going bad?
Clogged Filter?
Any ideas?
I think I will start with the OPSU and a oil change.
Where is the OPSU located? Are there any pictures floating around here?
I tried the Search feature with no luck
Thanks

yeah but be very careful when removing the manifold or you will take the sensor out like me. It doesnt take but a little touch and you will be a your local dealer purchasing another for about $70. it is on the drivers sind behind the manifold almost were your coolent line connects.

the socket isnt nessesary, but you will be better off getting it. the sending unit is a hex, but the edges are rounded, and you will just save some time and headache getting the proper socket
