Sleave LS1 cylinder
Anyone ever had a LS1 block resleaved? I know they actually sell sleaves for an LS1-LS6 block, but didn't know if anyone has done it or know if it can be done?

if u have a damaged liner, just go witha new or undamaged engine
if u wnt to to a bigger engine look into a 6.0 or a LS2
i have machined a ls1 to accept sleeves, and it is a bit of a chore,
better off going with anew block or a machined 6.0 imo
and usually cheaper

Its not for me to rebuild.
I just wanted to know b/c I was wanting to do some "wheeling and dealing" at a local machine shop. So, for the guy to do the work wouldn't cost him or me a dime once he becomes the proud new owner of the block.
Minus the cost of the sleeve of course.

I've resleeved quite a few LS1's/LS6's using the Darton MID
sleeve kit. I have a 6 page list of FAQ's about the proceedure.
Send me an email at lcwolf03@comcast.net and I'll forward
them to you.
