Why are you disappointed with the cam..!? I don't blame you though for the hostility against LG.. !

All the G5X3 and G5X2 users I've talked to loved theirs. I know mine runs great. Heck, my buddy's G5X3 car with stock heads made 417rwhp. Heck, even when discussing cams with one of the cam gurus on this board, it looks like one of the best options would be a cam with the duration, and advance specs of a G5X3, only on a 110LSA with LSK lobes. The valve events of the X3 cam make for a good running car.

Yeah I remember you saying something about that in the past. I'm still not sure how that makes the X3 a bad cam. I love mine.
And be careful. I spoke of a sponsor lying and doing me and many others wrong, and I got banned for a week. Don't wanna mess with the pockets of board owners. Every sponsor will have bad reviews as well as good. But LG has a wonderfully impressive good:bad ratio. Too bad you had a bad experience.

Could someone help me out here, I must be clueless...
If the lift of a new cam is larger than stock, don't you need a SHORTER pusrod because the cam lobes are taller?
And just how much 'slop' can the stock lifters tolerate? It must be in the .025 range since that seems to be the lengths pushrods come in, right?
Thanks!!

The higher the lift, the smaller the base circle. With smaller base circles you need longer p-rods (cam only).
Preload accepted by stock lifters is in the .060>.100 range. I usualy make it in the .080>.100
