Default new to power

i have a 99 ws6 m6 and i went 13.7 stock at a crappy track. i need help to make more power cheap because i dont have much money. please help.

Start in the external forum. Basic boltons such as full exhaust and intake will get you started. You wanna go fast for real cheap then get a nitrous kit.

BTW 13.7 stock at a crap track if its your first time racing is not bad at all.

Might want to try a search for "free mods" to get you started. Take a look at this link http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm

Keep in mind that a lid, FTRA, ported TB, LS6 intake (or equivalent) and catback system will gain you a noticeable difference. Headers and a ORY are a must eventually. It really depends on what you have to spend. The sky's the limit with these motors.

There is a sticky called wannabe fast in the new ls1 owners section that goes over several things you can to do to go fast.

My '98 Formula ran 13.74@105 stock. Added the parts in my sig and ran the number shown (disregard the headers. They didn't gain me anything but a better sound.) If I could launch the car harder I would be in the mid 12's.
