Has anyone installed ARP Main Studs without a Line Hone/Bore??? Can stock do 600RWHP?
Hey guys has anyone installed these without doing a line bore/hone? Or does anyone know if a stock mainbolt can do 600RWHP? with RPM's in the 6800 range?
Thanks in advance

I did it
before I went forged I ran a 175 shot on top of 395RWHP @ 6400RPM several times(shift points @ 6800) and it looked fine when I took it out, I know it's not 600 but I'm pretty sure it would hold, might want to get some rod bolts if your engine is older than 2001, just because of the RPM's

Billet Main Caps
I have heard from a couple sources that the main caps are only good up to around the ~600 HP mark. Since my long term goals were going to take me well above that I put in a set of billet steel main caps. I bought them direct from Callies. Of course for every person like me you will find somebody that has gone above that amount with no problem. I just didn't want to take that kind of chance. Something for you to think about before you bolt it back together.

I made over 800 rear hp/tq with my latest setup and all previous setups I used the same motor....my main caps looked fine....lsx is a beast of a block design...but I am considering using ARP studs instead of GM bolts....and maybe a cradle too.
