Default Patriot VS MTI Heads

So whats the better head?

MTI Stage 2E

OR patriots Stage 2

I'm going to be running a mild cam and nitrous very occasionally.

What head is more reliable and built better, which produces more power?

Patriot simply can not compare to the MTI stuff...MTI is way nicer and priced accordingly.

Patriot's are the best bang for buck head you can get. If you want a high dollar head, then I'd look to ETP, Trick Flow, AFR, and MTI.

I'm currently compairing the two as well. The MTI's flow better and are hand polished.

Thanks for all the input I now feel much more confident with these heads

What would be a good cam to match with these heads? I will drive this car in traffic and don't want to sacrafise much drivability

I currently have LS6 intake FlowTech LT ORY 42lb injectors walbro 255 150 NX wet kit K&N FIPK I don't use the Nitrous much at all so no need for a cam for nitrous.

it's all on how much you willing to spend, then matching all parts to compliment each other for optimum performance. I'm running Patriot heads and satisfied.

i had MTI stage 2e heads on my car. heads and cam ran 11.50s all day on the nitrous program. put the 150 to it and it ran 10.40s not hookin up. I am very pleased with MTIs work.

i think the mti 2e/x1 is a pretty popular setup. wilwaxu is busting 10's daily driver on that same setup.

Call MTI they already have proven matching cams for the 2E heads....how fast do you want to go?
