Default MS4 or Torquer v.3?

I'm debating on which cam to get. I know the MS4 will need flycutting but will the Torquer v.3 to have a safe PTVC? If it does I'm just gonna go with a MS4.

If you are leaving stock heads in the car, you don't need to flycut. You will need new springs though for either one as the v3 is .643/.603 if I remember right.

The stock heads are gonna be on the car untill I cant get a set of Trick Flows. I know the springs need to be replaced. I'll be getting the package with springs and retainers. Just wasnt sure about the PTVC. Thanks for the info man.

I debated the same thing in my head for a long time till I decided on the MS4.

No regrets! My car is a beast and I could not be happier. Pulls like a freight train to the redline!

I've got it tuned to the point where it drives like stock all the way from a cold start!

Before it would be harsh and you would have to gingerly feather the clutch to get it to roll from a cold start and now I can put it around just as it was when stock.

BTW, it sounds bad ***!

P.S> MS4 does not need flycutting with stock heads.

You should be flycutting with a Magic Stick. Just becasue a cam clears does not mean it clears with safe piston to valve clearances. I wouldnt want my piston and valves as close as they are with these cams with no flycutting. But hey its your motor.

And most of the guys doing that aren't revving that cam out either. $50 says they're not touching 6800rpm.

My rev limiter is set to 7000 with the shift points at about 67-6800. Love the MS4. Pulls like a monster up top and still daily drive it with a 4400 stall.

What kinda bottom end do you have? Im already looking into a 383 rotating assembly lol bc i know the stock bottom end wont last @6800 rpm or long anyways

I have the MS4 in my M6 and freaking love it, that is what I would choose for you, it pulls like a SOB up top and feels like it doesn't want to quit pulling, I had mine custom ground on a 110lsa though but that wont clear stock heads if I remember right.

well the MS4 is one hell of a cam and you cant go wrong with it but fly cutting would be a good idea just to be safe.

Thanks everyone. I'm now stuck with the MS4. As soon as I get my exhaust done, the cam and a stall will be next.
