ms3 on a blower...or good blower cam?
well i hate to say it but im building my car right now with a h/c/n setup but it looks like there is just too many cars around me this year that came out too fast.
i was going to buy the ms3 and run that on the n20 but i was wondering how that would do on a basic vortech setup?

Here's a nice comparison of heads/cam/nitrous vs. heads/cam/blower: https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/712469-346-afr-205-trak-cam-fast-90-90-p-1sc-results.html

A turbo will typically want a single pattern cam or even a slight reverse split (depending on exhaust arrangement) with duration in the low to mid 220s and an LSA between 115-116. You'll want dynamic compression between 6.5-7.0:1. On a roots blower, you'll need to really watch the overlap because the low rpm boost is much higher. Keep overlap under 0 degrees at .050" and DCR between 6.5-7.0:1.
With a procharger, you can go with a little more DCR and a little bit more overlap since the boost comes on stronger at higher rpm. You can go 7.0-7.5:1 in dynamic compression and can run your overlap slightly above 0 degrees at .050" if you like.
Honestly, a stock '02 Z06 cam works great on either type of supercharger, but it's not a great turbo cam. A custom cam would gain even more though.
