Default Biggest Cam with 59cc heads,

i got the patriot ls6 stageII heads,
59cc,
i got the 226.226 patriot cam aswell,

when i first bougth the package i ordered a package with a 23?/23? cam, and they sad that would be ok with out flycutting pistons,

so i ask, how big cam can i runn with my hudds, without flycutting,

As you have altered heads that's hard to tell without checking valve to piston clearance, which should be done no matter what cam you install.

Have you asked Patriot this question?

I had minimum .080/.100 PTVC with 57-58 cc heads and a 232/236 .585 cam .040 gaskets and thats with -2cc pistons.

But since you have patriot heads they are not milled, they weld the chambers to desired chamber size, which allows a ton more PTVC compared to a milled down head.

The chambers are welded on patriots to achieve 59cc. No milling has occurred on those heads. Other than the larger diameter valves, any cam that will fit on stock undecked heads will fit with the Patriots. A 23X/23X should not be a problem.

A MS4 and a set of heads should make way more than 450 i would imagine. My small chamber heads with a 232 cam made 452.

i think i migth chance to an ms4 or alike camshaft, when i srtated bulding the motor i wanted a good dd cam that still would act a little bit like a big cam, i kinda regret it now, also with the other stuff that i have bougth, like injectors, got the racetronix system on order along with nx plate system, allready got the fast 90 and 90mm NW and more, the 226/226 cam seems to not be able to get the best out of it,
