Default Hot Cam, do I need new push rods ?

Will I need longer push rods if I install a Hot Cam or stock is fine? Stock rocker arms will be used.
Thanks

Most of the time: A cam that is below 230 duration will pass. Hard to speak for a different country's emissions testing though.

Sorry I forgot to mention, you should change them since your going in to change the springs. I got my chromoly Pr's at speedinc for less than 100 US dollars. Very good insurance and you will see the difference when you compare them side by side.

Well I just passed the `TEST` here in Illinois we don't get anything up our pipes LOL all they did was attach their cable to the OBD II diagnostic port and run a test but luckly I had a tune at straight line perf and they deleted the rear o2`s, air return and the skip shift! good luck with ur cam and keep ME posted

My guy at chevy told me the ls1, ls6 and ls2 timing chains are all the same. ie same part number. Might as well since you are in there and oil pump too.

Sorry but ur chevy guy is wrong, the LS2 timing chain fits the LS1 sprockets but they are CLEARLY different LS2 is thicker, w/different part numbers. So yea please upgrade!!

An Ls2 chain is stronger than an LS1, slip right in with no problem. And is good for a hotcam installation. Dont you think so chuck!

stockers are fine, kp ran them at 6800rpm on a d1sc running 9s. you shouldnt be spinning a hotcam over 6400rpms so stockers will be fine, if your really concerned, roll them on a piece of glass, that will tell you if they are already bent or not
