LS6 cam ideal for high stall A4's?
I hear everyone complain about the LS6 cam only makes power over the stock cam at 4k+ rpms. Well those of us that have a high stall torque converter, wouldn't this be perfect? I have a 3500 stall and the only time I'm under 4k is when I'm stalling it up, ready to hit the gas. Then in a split second I'm at 4k and when I shift, my rpms drop from 6100 (custom shifts) to 4900 or so. So in that entire time, I am in the LS6 cam's power band.
So for the bang for the buck, wouldn't the LS6 cam be ideal for us high stall owners? I don't need more power at 2-3k rpm because in a race, my car never see's those rpms.

depends upon your goals. It's a decent daily driver cam, but you can ran more duration and still stay quite streetable.

They can void your warrenty if they dont like what kind of tires you have, and pulling it into the service bay they'll probably know you have a non-stock converter.
I'd buy a bigger used bumpstick if you're on a budget, instead of getting the LS6 and then wanting to step up in a few years when the warrenty is out.

The only other cams I have been looking at are the TR220 and the B1. Once I buy one of those, springs, and tuning which the LS6 cam doesnt need, I'd be somewhere around $1000 w/ installation. And in 2 years I hopefully won't be as bad off financially as I am now so I wouldn't care if I wanted something bigger then.
