Default LG g5x-2 vs TSP TV2

G5X2 232/240 .595/.609 112 vs TV2 232/234 .595/.598 112

i am very interested in these two cams, which one makes more power all around? i will be running one of these cams with heads so what would you recommend? the g5x2 seems to make more power down low. my goals are mid 11's with h/c, ls6 intake, pulley, ptb, lid, kooks 1 3/4 headers, ORY, cutout, magnaflow, S60 with 4:10, race weight should be around 3500ish. from what ive read the tv2 lack a lil trq down low, am i wrong with both of these cams and should i go a lil smaller like a 228r? thanks in advance

Why would you have gone smaller, is it because of the streetability of the bigger cam?

I love my X3 with my stalled auto. Heck, with my high dynamic compression, my G5X3 112 drove great with my M6. No regrets.

I vote for the G5X2. Proven cam, tons of great results, always great spec tolerance, and a great company. You can't beat that.

The X2 gets my vote. Attached is my dyno sheet from a couple of weeks ago. I am very happy with my set-up and results. I was worried about driveability, but as it has been stated over and over again - it is all in the tune. Check out my sig. for a list of mods.

Yes. I am still running the stock LS6 intake, TB and MAF. For me, the AFR heads were the only choice. As for cams, I was going LG all the way. I wanted a "proven" set-up. I researched H/C set-ups for months before pulling the trigger. AFRs with LG cams always seem to deliver the goods.

Go with LG.. he's a really cool guy and I'm not too thrilled with TSP's customer service.

Seriously dude, it would be pure speculation unless you found someone who installed both and kept all variables constant.

You should just title your thread "Which one would you pick..."

That sounds great! I know a great tuner in Lexington who specializes in LG cams, and he prefers the X2 over them all. I've love to see this Predator version with the LSK intake lobe. Also, has anybody ran Patrick G's donkey cam (G5X3 on LSK lobes)?

There is one guy making 404rwhp with A4, 4000 stall + bolt ons in (Dyno section)
We all know A4s are not dyno queens

I have buddy who made 400 rwhp with just headers and lid. No ported throttle body or pulley. He was also a a4 w/ 3500 stall. Oh yeah and his cam only.
