How many miles on your car? It could be several things like the PCV, rings, or valve seals. Do you have any leaks?

Welcome to the Jungle! My buddys brand new Truck is sucking down a quart every 3,000 miles. Mine is sucking down about 1/2 that much. Ls1s just love oil. Well theres one good thing about it. We don't have to worry about rust valves do we!

My sons care had 43K and was eating at least a quart in between changes. Get a leak down test, we did and it bought us a great piece of mind, no cylinder issues at all. So, now we just live with the oil eating SS. My WS6 doesn't eat a bit, go figure.

Mine ate 1qt or so every 1000 miles as proven by an oil consumption test done by the dealer when my car was new. GM said it was ok. I just lived with it, but it eventually killed my engine.

Honestly wouldn't care if my motor busted. It will give a very good excuse to buy a new forged motor.
