Default Burn oil WOT High RPM?

I noticed and other people I race notice that my car smokes a little when I am at high rpms, around 6000k. I have a ls6 valley cover. I do NOT have a pvc valve, I just have a hose going from the valley cover to the intake. I had a crimped hose (it was crimped due to the bend) that was working and it didn't smoke. Now I have a perfectly round hose in place and now it smokes at high rpm.

I think the reason it smokes is due to the air flow increase ( with the nice round hose) and the vaccum is sucking oil from the valley at a much high rate and creating a small smoke show.

Is there a certain PCV valve can put in the middle of the hose to cut down on this?

I too am interested in this. Do you get any visible smoke when you open the oil dipstick and blip the throttle?

Well.. without a pcv valve, there would be nothing to stop the flow of oil from being sucked into the intake. is there oil inside the intake ? suggest you try and use a PCV valve in the line and see what happens.

You can try running a Catch Can to seperate the oil out of the air before it go into the T/B.

Why do you say that?

I helps reduce slack. The ls1 is in a third gen Trans Am . I don't want to cut the throttle cable until I have my set up complete.
