True although the old school tool is being used in a new way since you cut the handle off and no longer use it as a lever.

You don't have to cut the handle, you can cut the cowl back instead.

LOL well at least it would be easier to work on the motor that way; hey maybe we could hinge it somehow? Derty, I've heard the soundclip of your motor, very badass sounding!

Yep, the tool Derty uses is the one I have been using forever now. It's by far the best. Only suggestion is to use threaded rod instead of the bolt. Just insurance against stripping the threads out of the rocker studs.

Yeah that's what I was thinking; I got an extra long bolt and was going to cut the head off to make it a stud. How long does the stud need to be?

Which exhaust clip did you hear, the old or the new one that I just posted up yesterday? Regardless either one of them with my new motor screams pull me over if I'm stupid.

We are pleased to announce our new billet aluminum two piece valve spring compressor. It works with factory beehive or aftermarkert springs.

The short design will clear the hoods and cowls, and it is strong enough to install your dual springs with ease.

Come on in and check it out !

It looks cool, but $15 vs $200 and it works the exact same way? In fact the $15 version is probably quicker to work with. Sorry, I must belong to the old school of think smarter not harder.

Thanks for posting this up; looks a lot better than the Moore tool, but $200 is way too much for a spring tool!
