Titanium retainers and just get the ls2 timing cahin.....you dont need an oil pressure sending unit unless yours is broken

Agreed, no need of the sending unit unless yours is broken. Get just the LS2 timing chain, pick up tube o-ring, water pump gaskets, front cover gasket/seal, and the obvious things coolant, oil, oil filter.

Plus 1 on the timing chain...and if you havent gotten one a ported oil pump would be nice while you are in there anyways

To hold the lifters? 5/16th wooden dowels from any hardware store work better. And their cheaper

See everyone has covered it well for you.. If you already get the Oil sender, just hang on to it until your finish, that way if you do break it you have it there, if you don't break it, return it. !

Keep us posted on the results.

Get the installation kit, it comes with all of the seals and gaskets you need. And hopefully you've got the tool to swap out the springs and a puller to pull the crank pulley off.

You should also go ahead and buy a few extra valve locks ($0.12 each from Advance Auto) and valves seals ($17 for FelPro from Advance).
