stock ls1 heads flow about 235-240 cfm, stock ls6 flow around 265-270 cfm and ported heads flow 300cfm (ls1) and 320 ish ls6. like everyone say get at least a mild port job done if your going to do all the work. yellow ls6 springs are ok upto 570 lift cam but for insurance think about upgrading the springs. the one advantage to stock ls6 heads off a vette is light weight / sodium filled valves (at least exhaust) . just my 2 cents.
