How do i tell if the heads are milled or not

Default How do i tell if the heads are milled or not

I have a 03 zo6 243 heads i bought . The guy i bought this from didn't know if the previous owner had the heads milled or not. How do i know if the heads are milled ? Wouldf a cylinder head rebuilder shop check the heads & tell if it was milled ?

take them to a machine shop and have them CC'ed

4.732" from the rail to the sealing surface is what I found in another thread, but I'm not sure how accurate that can be. I'm sure the measurement varies from casting to casting, but it should give you an idea.
