Default ls7/caddy lifters worth it?

just like it says are they worth it? building a 408 so i am in there... should i just do it like nike?

I run the caddy lifters in mine now and had the LS7's before. The caddy lifters are supposed to be better suited for high RPMs, but the LS7's should be good for anything you're gonna throw at them. Plus the LS7 lifters are less than half the price.

depends on what spring pressure and rpm you plan on running/turning.

probably 7k tops... and i dont know the spring pressure but they are the prc gold doubles with a ms4

You'll be fine with the caddy lifters. And just for future reference the LS7 lifters are now the GM replacements. You can't even get the old style LS1 lifters anymore unless you buy them used, so if your replacing lifters in any application you get to upgrade.

You can usually get the LS7's for right around $100 shipped brand new. And the caddy lifters are about double but are a better choice for bigger power & higher RPM's.

so for a 408 turning 6200 tops ls7 are good to go right?

and 100 shipped where from>?

got me the caddy ones and the motor is at the machine shop woo hoo..... but dont like the looks of my bank account lol
