last spring i got the ms4 with stage 1 ls6 heads, and ls6 intake... well i had her wound tight one night and blew little pieces of piston out the side of my motor... lol..
what is my best option now. everything from tsp is ok.
-can i keep the stage one heads with a 408 setup for a while till i get better heads and cam.
-should i go with tsp's 370 setup?
what would yall recomend...thanx!!

I have had personal experience with a TSP 408 car. It had a huge cam and their stage 3 ls6 heads. Went like a raped ape. I raced it in my cam only ls1 car (runs with 11 second cars) and I got whipped. He even gave me a head start. lol I was very impressed. A 408 or a 402 will be my next set up.

We have lots of customers that run the 408 short-blocks with stage 1 ls6 heads. The good news is the stage 1s can alway be easily upgraded to stage 2 or 3 down the road. That being said those 300+cfm stage 1 heads are still pretty good even on a 408cid short-block!
I believe short-blocks are still on special!! We have 30 of them in stock so hopefully I have the one your looking for ready to go!

IMO, just optimize your MS4 setup in a 347 motor.
Get a forged block, pistons with reliefs, run a tighter gasket for better quench, mill the heads to optimize DCR/SCR,
Pay attention to detail on the build, degree your cam and fine tune it as much as you can.
Better do a good combo than a half *** one, plus less weight up front is better. That is .1 sec in itself
