Default Moisture under the oil cap

Now I know this can be symptoms of a couple things, blown HG but Im just not sold on that as the car only sees really short trips every day 6 miles one way.

Any ideas? The car is acting really normal Im just curious to others thoughts on this. What else could be causing moisture to build up under the oil cap.

The car is a H/C/I C5 for those wondering.

Thanks,
Matt

they say its from codinsation inside the engine and to make sure you properly let your car warm up before each drive

It's normal. I went 2 miles to get some oil one day and when I popped the oil cap off it had the same stuff on the underside. I've never seen it after the vehicle is fully warm.

That foam and moisture is very common when a car see mostly short trips. Take her out on a nice hour long cruise and see if it goes away. When you only drive short trips the oil never reaches a hot enough temp to boil out all the moisture.
