My guess is big cam, it came from his buddy.113k had rod knock..LOL I guess so!

Time for a 383 or sell the block and get a 408 for a few dollars more...

113k out of 98 T/A. Buddy bought it with 109K, we racked up the mileage last summer and one night he was driving and just heard knocking, seen oil pressure fluxuate but had to keep going. He was in traffic in construction so no shoulders. He probably put about 50 miles on while knocking. Pulled it, he dropped a reman'd LS6 and this one sat in my garage. Everything else witht he motor is fine, not a single other rod was going. the engine was extremely gunked up with carbon, jus tlook at those mains.


So I'm going to pick up a new crank, 2 new rods, basic rebuild kit, very lil mahcine work to block, if any, hi pressure pump, and thats all. . . Rods bolts ofcourse
