Default can anyone suggest the right heads??

well, i bought my cam and didnt realize what i was getting into. the thing is it is everything i want even though it is kinda big. it is a comp ground .236/.242 .602/.612 on a 111 lsa. i know i will need springs, push rods, retainers, and all the other goodies. my problem is now i cant and dont know how to pick the right heads. i have been told i may have to fly cut pistons, or rebuild entire engine. i know this is bull because there are guys running MS4 cams with ls6 stage 1 prc heads and have no clearance problems. so i call Texas speed and ask them and they basically said i would have to do my research and thats about it. i was planning on running their ls6 stage 2.5 heads and not mill them or anything. i have also been told that afr 205 would be an awesome set to match the cam.. as you can tell by this thread i am completely lost!! please help me out, any advise is great, even a "your a dumb @$$ for getting that cam" ANYTHING! thanks guys.

Those cam specs you got are basically the same specs as a magic stick 3. I personally dont suggest running them without checking piston to valve clearance but lots of people run it ok with completey stock motor/heads.

You should decide on your budget first and then you'll have a better idea of what heads to shop for. I offer Edelbrock, TFS, AFR, Dart and cnc'ed ls6 heads as well. I'd be glad to help you out, I'll pm you.

If there is no limit on price go TFS and make big power and you will also have more PTV than any GM casting. Don't forget you need some aftermarket rockers with TFS too.

We have a p/v friendly stage 2.5 5.3l head that would work great for you, or we could build you a stage 1 LS6 head that will have better than stock p/v & give you some room for milling!!

What kind of power does it make currently?

look into etp heads if your budget allows for it, these heads run a 11 degree valve angle, mine are milled .040 running 12.5cr and my cam is close to that, with these heads set up the way they are et told me i still have more clearance than a stock cast head.

I have 243/249 cam on a 110. Using PRC LS6 heads with 2.02 intake valves. The PTV was almost non existent. I ended up flycutting the pistons and milling the heads. I'd think your cam will fit but will be very close and highly reccomend checking PTV.
